Welcome! This is Dada Shakespeare. It's a tool to produce shuffled, randomised collages of Shakespeare's plays.

Choose a play and choose how you'd like to shuffle it.
Optionally, you can also remove a character who should be in that play, or add a character from another play who shouldn't be there.
Save and share your result so you can gather a group of theatre folk and make them perform it for you (they'll probably enjoy it).
Shuffling every speech will return a completely randomised play with none of the original act or scene order preserved - any speech can (and will) appear at any point in the script.
Shuffling speeches within each act will preserve the order of the acts only. Act 1 will be followed by Act 2, etc. Speeches within that act will appear in any order, but you won't see a speech from Act 5 appear in Act 1.
Shuffling speeches within each scene will preserve the order of both acts and scenes. Act 1 Scene 1 will be followed by Act 1 Scene 2, etc. Speeches within scenes will appear in any order, but you won't see a speech from Act 1 Scene 1 appear in Act 1 Scene 2.
